Content

Leavesonbranches.com is a non-profit, online research group that allows user-generated content as a means of furthering research and collaboration between researchers of the Ervin surname, and for display to other genealogists visiting this website.

The decision to submit, share, or upload information to the Leavesonbranches.com website is your responsibility and you should only submit content that belongs to you and that does not violate the rights of others. By submitting, uploading, and sharing content to Leavesonbranches.com you certify under penalty of law that you have the right to do so and that the material is not protected by copyright. You also agree that the material provided by you will be displayed on the website and shared with other Users under the doctrine of Fair Use as outlined in US Copyright Laws, specifically title 17, from U. S. Code.

All content submitted from your User Account is displayed with your User Name and clearly distinguishes you as the author of said content. You agree that Leavesonbranches.com is merely hosting and providing access to shared material. Leavesonbranches.com does not claim ownership of the material, nor does it accept any liability with regard to such material, including the accuracy of such user provided content.

By submitting, sharing, and uploading content to the Leavesonbranches.com website, you are giving Leavesonbranches.com a license to use, host and distribute your material on the website. You also acknowledge and agree that while Leavesonbranches.com does not own any of your user-generated content, Leavesonbranches.com may modify or withdraw posts if it so chooses, and is not obligated to remove or unpublish user-submitted content, even if requested by the original author/User. Accounts

A user may maintain and use no more than one User account to post content. A user specifically may not create or use additional accounts for the purpose of circumventing technological restrictions (security measures) in the posting process or otherwise for posting content in violation of the Terms of Use.

A user may create an account only on his/her own behalf.

A user must create his/her account personally and manually and may not create accounts by any automated means. Without limitation, this includes the obligation that the user personally and manually solves any CAPTCHA or security challenges in the account creation process. The circumvention of any technological restriction or security measure in the account creation process is also expressly prohibited.

By registering for a User account and accessing the site with your Username and Password, you acknowledge and agree to these Account terms.

Unauthorized Conduct

This section applies to all uses and Users of the Leavesonbranches.com website.

To maintain the integrity and functionality of Leavesonbranches.com for its Users and visitors, access to Leavesonbranches.com and/or activities related to Leavesonbranches.com that are harmful to, inconsistent with or disruptive of Leavesonbranches.com and/or its users' beneficial use and enjoyment, are expressly unauthorized and prohibited.

Any copying, aggregation, display, distribution, performance or derivative use of Leavesonbranches.com or any content posted on Leavesonbranches.com whether done directly or through intermediaries, including but not limited to the use of spiders, robots, crawlers, scrapers, framing, iframes or RSS feeds, is prohibited.

Any attempt to engage in, or to enable, induce, encourage, cause or assist anyone else to engage in, any of the above unauthorized and prohibited access and activities is expressly prohibited and is a violation of the Terms of Use and will result in an immediate termination of your User Account and/or restricted access to the Leavesonbranches.com website.

Release

You agree to indemnify and hold Leavesonbranches.com harmless from and against any third-party claim, cause of action, demand or damages related to or as a result of your own conduct or activities conducted by you or the use of your Leavesonbranches.com User account. This indemnification obligation also includes payment of any attorneys' fees and costs incurred by Leavesonbranches.com, its owner and any of its representatives.
