Amy, I think it's worth

Amy,

I think it's worth noting that the Robert Erwin that appears on the 1812 tax list in Huntington township, Gallia county eventually relocates to Bloomfield, Jackson county. Then later, George Ervin relocates from Clinton, Jackson to Huntington, Gallia (1850 & 1860 censuses)

Robert Erwin married Martha "Patsy" Scurlock in Gallia Co. Dec 6, 1810. He appears in the 1820 (Irwin) and 1830 (Irvin) Bloomfield, Jackson, Ohio censuses. His estate was probated in 1837 and his widow requested that George Scurlock be appointed administrator of the estate in her place. (Jackson county Ohio courthouse, Case 151, 1837, Journal D207, Record A91)

The request is witnessed by Nelson Aleshire who was married to Lydia Irwin Jan 19, 1832 in Jackson co. I am presuming Lydia (b. 1814) was Robert and Martha's daughter.
