Maurice Ervin Newark - Maurice Ervin, age 82, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at The Inn at SharonBrooke. Maurice was born August 11, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio to the late James Russell and Lula Mae (Faught) Ervin. He grew up in Millersport and was a 1956 graduate of Millersport High School. He opened his first auto body repair business with his best friend Max Anderson while in high school. Maurice was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

It is with great sadness I announce the passing of J. WIllis Ervin.

John Willis Ervin's grandfather was John Gilbert Ervin, son of Elias Ervin and Hulzina "Hulda" Deal. Elias, his great-grandfather, was the son of Thomas Ervin and Sarah Thatcher. Willis worked for many years researching the Ervin family, and passed on to many of us here, the love of genealogy. Our prayers and deepest sympathy go out to his family.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rita JoAnn Boyce, who departed this life peacefully on March 25, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on December 2, 1934, in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, JoAnn lived a life full of compassion and kindness, always putting her family first.

Georgianna Ervin (1923-2015) Obituary

Georgianna (Towne) Ervin of Golden was born on July 24, 1923, in Frontier County, Neb., and died on Aug. 14, 2015.

She is survived by her children, Bethene Ervin, Luanne (Leonard) Todd, and Roger (Jacque) Ervin; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Willis Ervin.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Applewood Valley United Methodist Church, 2035 Ellis St. in Golden.

James H Ervin of Belvidere, IL, formerly of Huntley, IL (1937-2014)

JAMES H. ERVIN - James H Ervin of Belvidere, IL, formerly of Huntley, IL. He was born in Lexington, TN on June 19, 1937, the son of James and Mary Ervin. He died peacefully October 6, 2014, surrounded by his family.

He worked, owned and operated Fox Valley Fence of Elgin for 24 years. He then farmed in Huntley and Belvidere until his retirement in 2000. He currently owned J & M Storage.
